Depends on the people involved and whether or not they get lazy in the romance department. My last long term relationship, we were still very attracted to each other at the 4 yr mark..... just before we broke up.

15 yrs later and im as attracted to her as the first time i saw her. Love has a whole lot to do with it. How she takes care of herself does as well.
Sexual attraction does not die. Actually you can hate someone and be sexually attracted to them. if sexual desire is fading don't blame attraction. there is most likely a deeper reason and someone is not being honest with themselves about it.
Ive been with my boyfriend for 6 years and from personal experience it only gets better.
