Is it true you can still get pregnant if you have unprotected sex but your partner pulls out?

Is it true you can still get pregnant if you have unprotected sex but your partner pulls? If so how high are the chances of pregnancy? Is it true you can still get pregnant if you have unprotected sex but your partner pulls out?
How Effective Is Withdrawal?

Effectiveness is an important and common concern when choosing a birth control method. Like all birth control methods, the pull out method is much more effective when you do it correctly.

* Of every 100 women whose partners use withdrawal, 4 will become pregnant each year if they always do it correctly.

* Of every 100 women whose partners use withdrawal, 27 will become pregnant each year if they don't always do it correctly.

Couples who have great self-control, experience, and trust may use the pull out method more effectively. Men who use the pull out method must be able to know when they are reaching the point in sexual excitement when ejaculation can no longer be stopped or postponed. If you cannot predict this moment accurately, withdrawal will not be as effective.

Even if a man pulls out in time, pregnancy can still happen. Some experts believe that pre-ejaculate, or pre-***, can pick up enough sperm left in the urethra from a previous ejaculation to cause pregnancy. If a man urinates between ejaculations before having sex again, it will help clear the urethra of sperm and may increase the effectiveness of withdrawal.

Pregnancy is also possible if semen or pre-ejaculate is spilled on the vulva.

Keep in mind that the withdrawal method does not protect you from sexually transmitted infections. Use a latex condom or female condom to reduce the risk of infection. Is it true you can still get pregnant if you have unprotected sex but your partner pulls out?
You absolutely can. The withdrawal method is the least effective method of birth control. Just look at the number of pregnant girls just on this board who didn't think they could get pregnant if their boyfriend pulled out. Preejaculate contains sperm and usually a man doesn't even know it's happening.

';Coitus interruptus is not effective as a contraceptive technique. Failure rates, although somewhat difficult to ascertain, are thought to be as high as 25 percent. The problem is that pre-seminal fluid (pre ***) leaks from the penis prior to ejaculation. Even a small amount of pre-seminal fluid contain live sperm.';

Pulling out also does nothing to prevent STIs/STDs. Always use a condom. If you don't have one, don't have intercourse. Even if you aren't pregnant now, you could have contracted herpes, chlamydia, genital warts or other diseases which are either incurable or could cause infertility or cancer.
Yes it is very true. the method hardly works that doctors advise to not use it unless with protection.

Withdrawal method - Of every 100 women whose partners use withdrawal, 4 will become pregnant each year if they always do it correctly. (4%) -fails

Of every 100 women whose partners use withdrawal, 27 will become pregnant each year if they don't always do it correctly.(27%) - fails

but pre-ejaculation can get a girl pregnant.

Birth control pill as a .1 % fail rate

you can learn more about protection at:

REMEMBER: Protection is NEVER a 100% and can fail, but better than nothing.

if you don't mind why do you want to know?
Yes it is true that you can.

The pull-out method is not really a method of any sort. It is actually a myth that a lot of people believe. Pulling out only keeps the guy from ejaculating inside of the girl. However, it does not stop precum (a self lubricant that comes out of a guy) that is just as able to get a girl pregnant as the actual stuff. The chances are not as high as if the guy had finished inside of the girl, but they are still fairly high.

The best bet to protect from unwanted pregnancy is to get on the pill, always use a condom, and use spermicide.
Honestly, when will people understand that if a penis comes within contact of a woman's vulva and especially if you have unprotected sex, even with pull out - you can become pregnant?! The possibility changes by situation but it's still there.

Pre-ejaculation can't be felt by the guy, you don't know it's there unless you bother giving him oral and taste some of it. Doubt that'll help during the sex!
Yes, its hit and miss. Not a good method of safe sex, and definitely not one you should be trying. Timing is everything, a second too late and baby makes 2. Stick to the reliable methods if you're sensible, and do not let any guy talk you into the ';withdrawal'; method.
Yes you can... but it is as high of a risk if you are on birth control and there is like almost a 75% chance b/c pre *** can contain sperm
yes you can due to precum
yes. you really should research your question before you ask it.
