I know some might say that the foundation of a relationship is based on the principle of truth but at some aspects it is mandatory to lie. For instance, the question you just asked. I would never tell a girl I'm dating how many girls I've slept with until I reach the point where I am pretty comfortable with her knowing. You got to get a feel in for the girl before you can start telling her details like that.
well, honestly I don't like it when people/partners ask that...it's really not something I'd put someone on the spot to share nor would I want to...(it's different if you're willingly discussing it). I would never lie about it, but lol, I have not answered; none of their damn business; I'm with them now and I'm always safe.


To me that's just insecurity manifesting itself ; and I don't find myself with insecure men very often.
I always tell the truth; trust and honesty are massively important to my relationships. A lie, even a ';little'; one sets you off on totally the wrong footing

I think I'd resent the question, actually. I've never been asked outright like that - and it would depend on context to a degree - but I think I'd politely decline to answer.
